As part of the 18th Science and Innovation Week, a talk will be given on one of the so-called Millennium Problems: P vs NP. A positive resolution of this conjecture, in addition to being rewarded with one million dollars, would allow us to tackle problems with current computers whose complexity currently places them beyond our reach.

During the talk, it will be explained what the problem consists of, why it is important, and how we might try to solve it ourselves. This will be followed by an entertaining workshop on programming and algorithms.
